Who we are
Madhouse Labs ("we", "us") runs madhouselabs.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@madhouselabs.co.uk.
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, the service you are interested in and your message.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to include.
- When you visit the site: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting provider records this for security and to keep the site running.
We don't ask for sensitive information, and please don't send it through the form.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To carry out work you have agreed with us. The lawful basis is performance of a contract.
- To keep the site and form secure and free of spam. The lawful basis is our legitimate interests.
- To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep in touch.
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts the site and provides the human check (Turnstile) on our contact form. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and device to tell people and bots apart. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google to download them. See Google's privacy policy.
- Email. Enquiries and emails are delivered to and stored in our email account, provided by Google.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
